What are ISRC codes?
An ISRC (International Standard Recording Code) is a unique 12 digit identifier that is used for tracking royalty payments and sales tracking of individual songs. They are mandatory for iTunes Registration and will be issued for each song by DiskFaktory for digital use only. If you would like these ISRC’s to be encoded onto your master CD there will be additional service charges. If you already have ISRC’s for your songs, please let us know, as two codes should not be issued for the same recording.
Other uses include tracking royalty payments for radio play, as well as anti-piracy safeguards in the digital arena.

What is Gracenote?
Also know as COMPUTER MEDIA PLAYER DISPLAY, many music fans listen to music on their computer. You will want to make sure that your CD is submitted to the Gracenote database to ensure that the artist, title, song titles, and genre information displays properly when played in most computer music players.
NOTE: IF YOUR CD IS NOT SUBMITTED PROPERLY, NO INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CD WILL DISPLAY WHEN PLAYED IN A COMPUTER.
What is CD TEXT?
Although not specifically related to digital download or proper computer media display, you will also want your CD formatted properly for CD TEXT. CD TEXT is a standard that allows disc and track information to be embedded on your audio CD making this information available for display on CD players that are compatible to read CD Text
